Oxford University Press has commissioned Roi Cohen Kadosh and Ann Dowker to edit The Oxford Handbook of Numerical Cognition. This book will comprise more than 50 short chapters, each tackling a specific research question of current interest, placed under broader headings that unite these topics into coherent themes (e.g., Phylogeny and Ontogeny of Mathematical and Numerical understanding, Neuroscience of Mathematics, Education). This book is expected to be published in 2013 and to have a very wide interdisciplinary readership.
