Our paper "developmental changes in effective connectivity in the emerging core face network" has been accepted for publication in the journal Cerebral Cortex. We used dynamic causal modelling (DCM) to show that the emergence of the face network is due to continuous specialisation and fine-tuning within the regions of this network. This study has important implications for future studies investigating trajectories of brain development and cortical specialisation both in typically and atypically developing populations.
